Personally I think not enough Fiddlestan folks take advantage of Stan's Grade A Grumpypants nature. Like you gotta break the hard outer shell if you want the sweet gooey center.

GUYS YOU HAVE NOT SEEN THE POTENTIAL OF STRANGER BY LILLIAN MAE FOR FIDDLESTAN SHIPPING
"To be used is to be wanted Then if I am wanted, how can I complain? You have me on the ground before you Fully in your power, but I don’t know your name"
"With my head in the lap of a stranger I am not a sinner, I am not a saint A victim of my own infatuation Call me an admirer, call me a disgrace"
"We sat right upon the leaves I don’t like the weather, I don’t like the ground Not with anyone who knows me I don’t like the promise, I don’t like the sound"
Someone better make a fucking animatic of these two with this song right now WHAT

Funny Pictures You Have To Look Twice At To Understand
What were your impressions of the game, Mr. Crow? I had a bird’s eye view, allowing me to observe all the plays, and the team performed exceptionally well today. This avian observer had some thrilling observations about the game. Read More

So y'all know the Gravity Falls production bible that leaked three weeks ago. Someone in one of my discord servers pointed this out:
Tumblr media
And, naturally, that spawned an entire AU.
AU Concept: Ford was kicked out instead of Stan and takes a job as a trucker to makes ends meet since he couldn't go to college, while still studying the weird and anomalous however he can.
Tumblr media
Ford driving around from quirky small town to quirky small town, drifting through the liminal spaces of truck stops, meeting odd people in isolated diners, seeing strange things out on the road—a deer with too many eyes bounding across a two-lane highway, a flirty woman at a rest stop who doesn't blink or breathe, mysterious lights in the sky at night, inhuman growls on the CB or 50-year-old broadcasts on the radio—and taking notes when he stops for gas or food.
Aside from having gotten kicked out before graduating high school, Ford's the same person he is in canon.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
He's still an ambitious guy, and here "ambitious" means working hard and saving as much money as he can—so, a long haul owner-operator who spends weeks at a time on the road. (He goes through a LOT of educational audiobooks.) Plus, this is the easiest way for him to get to travel the country; and since it looks like his "travel the world" dreams with Stan are dead, he'll take what he can get.
Since he's never in the same spot long and carries his life in a truck, almost all of Ford's research is in his journal. His bag of investigation supplies has an instant camera, a portable tape recorder, a thermometer, a flashlight, rubber gloves, and a few zip lock bags—and that's about it. It has to share space with all his clothes, toiletries, and nonperishable food when he's on the road. He doesn't have much opportunity to closely examine anything odd he finds, unless he's lucky enough to run into something when he can stop for the night. He has to cram his paranormal research around the side of his full-time job.
He doesn't live in Gravity Falls, but he knows it exists. Every time he moves—to Chicago, to Nebraska, to California—he seems to inch closer. He currently lives in Portland and usually hauls loads between the Pacific Northwest and Chicago or New York. He stops at the truck stop outside Gravity Falls when he can and has gone fishing in town a few times. He doesn't have the benefit of extensive research to know that this is the weirdest town in the world; but it seems pretty weird to him, there are local rumors about the town, and he's had some weird experiences in the area.
Tumblr media
Plus, he can't explain it, but it's like the town's calling to him. He wants to move there, but it'd put him over an hour outside of Portland where the nearest jobs are. Maybe if somebody chucked him like $100k to build a cabin in the woods; but what are the odds of that?
He does know Fiddleford. Truck broke down somewhere and Fiddleford kindly pulled over to fix it on the fly. They looked at each other, had mutual knee-jerk "dumb trucker/hillbilly" reactions, and within ten minutes both went "oh wait you're the most brilliant genius i've ever met." Fiddleford's living the same life he was in canon before Ford called him to Gravity Falls—with his family in California, trying to start a computer company out of his garage—but they make friends and keep in contact.
One time Ford stops at a kitschy roadside knickknack store that also sells new agey magic things—crystals, tarot cards, incense, etc. He bought a "lucky" rearview mirror ornament that looks like an Eye of Providence in a top hat and hung it from his cab fan, and ever since then he's had weird dreams whenever he sleeps in his truck.
Tumblr media
Things I don't know yet: what Stan's up to; or why Ford's the one who got kicked out. I tend to believe that in canon Stan wasn't just kicked out because he ruined Ford's college prospects, but rather because the family thought he deliberately sabotaged Ford; so in this AU, Ford would've been kicked out over a proportionate crime.

“Stanley wouldn’t actually be that nice to Fiddleford” “Stan wouldn’t treat Fidds any better than Ford did” WRONG u guys have no vision unlike me and I am exploding your dimension to liberate you so you see the stars (yaoi). Stan wouldn’t be nice to Fiddleford… at first. He would be too wrapped up in his guilt over accidentally pushing Ford into the portal to and preoccupied with getting him back, his defenses are already up from years on the run and he would assume that Fiddleford thinks as little of his intelligence as Ford does. He would be snapping and boorish and difficult to work with, but one day when Fidds gets fed up and begins to angrily storm off, wondering aloud why he’s even there, putting so much time and effort into rescuing someone who wouldn’t have to be rescued if he’d just listened to him in the first place, Stan throws himself in front of the door and begs him to stay and help him save his brother and opens up about their relationship in a panic, and the two warily wind up bonding over their respective complicated feelings about this person who they both deeply resent and desperately miss. And Fidds isn’t bad company, for a hippie, and it’s been so long since Stan has had anyone to talk to at all. And then, when Stan had to cook up a last minute scheme to get them out of some Gravity Falls monster shenanigans, Fidds actually called him brilliant. This guy is a riot! Blah blah getting stoned karaoke night as a euphemism etc etc… but in the harsh light of day it all begins to make sense. He’s just a cheap copy of Stanford to Fiddleford, that’s the role he’s played his entire life, and when he tries to call Fiddleford out on this, Fiddleford does call him stupid. And pigheaded. And… courageous? And creative? And caring?? And one-of-a-kind??? And… a good brother????

I’m rereading your ford x reader stuff and just imagining fidds having to deal with his lovesick roommate
ohhhhhhhhhhh this is so silly delicious chefs kiss
ive been swamped in college and life shit so I havnt really wrote anything but this is too good to not instantly brain rot over
ford would be So annoying, fiddleford is this close to getting a new roomate at times ToT he isnt sure whats worse, pre-relationship or in-relationship ford, both come with their own unique annoyances ajwokwjdh pre relationship is nights spent awake because stanford will just mumble to himself non stop about how beautiful and wonderful you are but how you two shouldnt get in a relationship rn but youre just so <333 but there are too many negative factors to concider with your ages and being in school still but the way your eyes light up like the sun when your excited makes his heart beat out of his chest but-
fidds feels like he is watching the worlds most annoying interactive romance movie.
he def tries to pep talk ford into just asking you out, the worst that could happen is you say no, so just go for it!!!! cough its for slightly selfish reasons fidds is so sick of The Rambles cough
when you two do start dating, the all night rambles to himself slow down a lot but instead its replaced by too many burnt dinners, stripped screws and pens so chewed on they explode ink all over to be concidered a win, all because the lovesick fool cant stop thinking about you and ends up getting so lost in thought he fucks something up by not paying attention. now, fiddleford is very glad you two are finally together and so in love! but! good god! someone save him from this madness
and when you two have a fight? it doesnt matter if ford is right and youre wrong, he may not wake up the next morning because fiddleford suffocated him in his sleep because he is So Fucking Annoying. fidds knows more about yalls relationship than hed like and has spent way too long listening to ford rant and rave about whats going on, what you two started fighting over and how he is absolutely right but you refuse to see it. yes this is more important than sleep, mcgucket 🙄 just do like he does and drink a pot of coffee its fine, now listen to how this argument went but worded slightly different
it can be very funny at times tho, hes pretty sure ford is about to start giggling kicking his feet and twirling his hair when you come over LMAO and how absolutely flustered the usually very well put together young man gets when you even just give him a small kiss on the cheek? priceless
fiddleford really is happy you two have eachother tho, before and after you start dating, its nice seeing his best friend find a person as great as you. you make him so happy and bring him out of his shell more than fidds has really ever seen, while he does still spend too much time holed up studying or working on something or other, he does seem to go out more, take better care of his hygiene and even eat more proper meals, especially if you make them. you bring out a side of ford that not many ppl get to see and if he's being honest, it more than makes up for all the annoying shit fidds has went through because of you lmfaoo

Post Weirdmageddon, Stanley continues to recover his memories. It's a gradual process, one that he sometimes gets frustrated with, but he's surrounded with a support system of friends and family that are more than happy to help.
Every so often, Stanford checks in with Fiddleford, who's a few steps ahead of Stanley in the memory recovery process and is an invaluable resource of knowledge and helpful tips. The fact that he invented the memory gun also helps, of course, and although he won't ever rebuild the thing, he has been studying the old one and just how it affects the mind.
During these calls between old friends/colleagues, Fiddleford will casually ask after Stanley's progress and general wellbeing, and Stanford will relay a summary of Stanley's most recent recovered memories.
One day over the phone, Fiddleford says, "So we know Stanley's recovered much of his childhood memories, some of his early twenties, and he's able to recall quite a bit of the past several years. Has he, ah, mentioned anything 'bout his time in the '80s? When he first started runnin the Mystery Shack and workin on the portal?"
"Not that I know of," Stanford answers. "I'll ask the kids. If he's mentioned anything to them, then Dipper's already added it to his notes." He frowns. "Should we be worried that he hasn't recalled anything from that period in his life, yet?"
"No, no," Fiddleford says. "At least, I don't think so. This all seems to be a sort of non-linear recovery process. Sorta like a stack o' cards that's fallen on the floor all mixed up and on top of each other, and he's pickin up the ones on the top layer, completely outta order. For all we know, this could be the card he picks up last." He pauses and clears his throat. "But if he does start mentioning anythin from that time - anythin at all from events to sensory memories or, uh, people - you be sure to let me know. I'd like to add it to my notes."
He sounds almost too casual. Stanford doesn't want to doubt his friend after all this time, but he vividly remembers what Fiddleford sounds like when he's trying to be sneaky, and he sounds like it right now. So much as he doesn't want to be, Stanford's suspicious.
He's just not quite sure what to be suspicious of.
He files the suspicion away for later. "You got it, old buddy."
"Well alrighty then! I'll call again tomorrow to check on today's progress. And why don't you order him an egg and sausage omelet from Greasy's? The one with all that cheese on top - but no mushrooms. He hates those. His favorite foods might jog his memories a bit."
Stanford blinks. "We were actually thinking of doing that. But how do you -?"
Fiddleford hangs up.
Stanford's still blinking at the phone, frowning, when Stanley walks up behind him.
"Hey, who was that?" Stanley asks. "Why do you look like someone just gave you a math problem you can't solve?"
"There are very few of those left in the universe," Stanford says, only half joking, and smiles when Stanley rolls his eyes, chuckling.
"Yeah, yeah, my brother the genius - whatever. Look, since you're on the phone already, why dontcha call up Fidds and tell him to pick up some pizza. If the kids are hungry, then you know I'm starving."
"Alright, but no broccoli pizza this time, I --" Stanford freezes. "Wait. Fidds?"
"Yeah, he's not in the shack or out back, so he's gotta be out in town, right?"
There's only one person that "Fidds" can be, but Stanford hasn't heard anyone use Fiddleford's nickname since college. He raises an eyebrow at Stanley, who's relaxing back in his recliner.
"Fidds, Stanley?"
"Yeah," Stanley says, raising an eyebrow back at his brother. "You know, your nerdy buddy? Scrawny guy with an accent? Helped me out with the portal right after you got stuck in it--"
"What?" Stanford's never heard about this. From either of them.
Stanley goes on, "Can't fight off a gnome to save his life but builds a giant crazy gnome robot anyway - whaat? Why're you looking at me like that?" Stanley sits up and his confusion becomes anger, almost startling Stanford out of his shocked state. "What, now that I'm getting all these memories back, you're uncomfortable?"
Stanford has no idea what he's talking about. "What? Uncomfortable with what?"
"With your college buddy shacking up with your twin brother," Stanley snaps. "We've been together for years. Maybe you should get over it, huh?"
"Get over it?" Stanford's reeling. Fiddleford's strangeness suddenly makes sense. "Stanley, I would never - I would accept you however you - I'm not straight, either, you know, and - wait." He holds up one hand and pinches the bridge of his nose with the other. "Before we even get into that - WHAT?"
Stanley blinks. "What??"
"You - you and - when did you-" Stanford throws his hands in the air. "He doesn't live here!"
"What?" Stanley snorts. "Yeah he does. I told him to move in."
"When?"
"Back in the '80s," Stanley says. "I just started remembering this morning. Where's be been, anyway? Why hasn't he been doing nerdy shit with you in the lab lately?"
Stanford's leaning against the sofa's armrest, mind racing. He answers distractedly, "We haven't been in the lab together since before you came to Gravity Falls, Stanley."
"Bull. You expect me to believe you two aren't cooking up some science project already?"
"Stanley..."
"What," Stanley says. Then he grins. "Are you the one with messed up memories now or what? Jeez, I got a better memory than my genius brother - and I've been hit with the memory gun twice!"
"Twice?" Stanford turns a sharp look on his brother. "What do you mean, twice?"
"Yeah. That one time when you used it on me, and then back in the '90s when Fidds . . ."
Stanley trails off. He blinks and then frowns, gaze falling to the floor as he mutters, "Back when Fidds . . . when he used it on me the first time, and. . ."
Realization dawns on them both at once, and Stanley looks at Stanford with an odd mix of emotions.
"Stanley," Stanford says in an effort to calm him. "What exactly do you remember of-"
"Who cares!" Stanley jumps to his feet, hands clenched into fists at his sides. "He used that thing on me! When I told him not to - when I asked - begged -" Stanley punches the wall and glares at the splinters littering his knuckles. His voice is shaking. "After everything we went through - he just took off 'cause he was, what, scared? Do you have any idea how much I've forgotten? Who knows if I'm gonna remember any of it? I didn't want him to leave! And after he did and used the gun, I - I was so broken and angry I didn't know why, couldn't remember why--"
With a growl, Stanley grabs the car keys from the little bowl by the TV and stomps towards the front door. "Get in the car. I've got a bone to pick with your old college buddy."
Stanford grabs his journal and hurries after his brother, calling for the kids as they head to the car. They're all likely going to be at Fiddleford's new mansion for some time.
He certainly has a bit of explaining to do.

IDEAS FOR FICS PART 1 [FIDDLESTAN]
-> #Free ideas to use (to find more similar things for fics)
Fiddlestan idea, where Stanley and Fiddleford work together to fix the and bring Stanford back.
During this time they come closer to each other and while feeling like mess they both help each other fix some things.
They both are basically a walking mess with Trauma.
Stanley helps Fiddleford during his panic attacks and calms him down when needed. Stan gives him attention and always listenes about his problems (the divorce and difficul situation with his son. Stanley also helps Fids with quiting his addiction (the memorygun).
Fiddleford made Stan aware that he isn't a worse copy of Stanford. He tells him that he is loved and once Stan opens up to him. Fidds explains how fucked up Stan's whole situation was. Moreover he shows affection to such a touch-starved person that Stanley was at that moment.
Stan and Fiddleford get closer to each other during their bonding time, until they fall for each other and form a relationship.
[They smoke together, go out and Fidds even started teaching Stan playing banjo (with difficulties but still)]
For years they try to open the portal once again, but without the other journals this seems almost impossible. [Just a reminder that the whole portal thing was Bill's idea and he gave Stanford the project. In conclution very HARD TO DO]
And then years later Dipper and Mabel show up..!
Fiddleford and Stanley are in relationship for 30 years. They basically are the "old married couple" But historians will say that they are just 'roommates'.
Mabel basically can smell the romance from distance, while Dipper is ignorant/unaware until someone pointed out this to him.
Stanley & Fidds even have matching earings!
[Also Fidds likes to call Stan Darlin', Hun and Stan calls Fidds Cowboy eventually That's My Cowboy! When noone is around]
Fidds never went crazy or anything. He even repaired his relationship with son! Yes, he might have still got some brain damage from using the gun in the past. (So from time to time he can be forgetfull) But he is better now!
When Stanford comes back there is also a lot of mess. Ford punches Stan and Fidds is right behind him to help him. Stanford is mostly confused by everything that at first he doesn't even notice that Fiddleford and Stanley are in a relationship.(He's just as blind as Dipper)
There is some arguing and Fiddleford is pretty much pissed at Ford for being ungratefull.
Once he overheard Stanford "talk" to Stan that "at the end of this summer you give me back my identyti, my house and this all mystery shack is over"
And he confronted Ford immediately yelling at him that "the world doesn't go around him" And he had no idea how much sacrificed for him and how both of them suffered. (After that 'conversation' I think that Ford finally sensed that something was going on between Fidd and Stanley]
Shortly after Fidd "talked" with Ford, he immiediately went to Stanley, assuring him that everything is gonna be alright and they are both in this together. That he is NOT alone.
[I feel like everyone saw at least once that time of fiddlestan au in art or something BUT-]
LET'S FINALLY GET TO THE MAIN POINT!!!
In this au everything goes similar to the canon, so Weirdmagedon still happened. Everything happened in a similar way and in the end Stanley saved the town. (Pls no jokes)
Ford had to erase his memories, with the memory gun. The weapon that Fiddleford once created and almost ruined his life. And now it erased the mind of the man he loved.
Fidds after realised what happened he was devastated.
He was furious at Ford's action, even though it was the only way to save everyone.
He was heartbroken seeing the man he loves not recognising him. As if there was noone on the other side.
The guilt was eating him alive, knowing well that HE created the gun that took away his love of life.
And after learning that it was Stanley's plan to use the memory gun on himself and not Ford's.. Fiddleford was basically tearing up.
Seeing Stan's lack of reaction after waking up and seeing his 'loved ones' and not recognising them was heart-breaking. Stanley didn't seem to remember neither his nephews nor brother or even him.
When Stan looks at him. There is nothing.
It hurts to look at the man you love. You can't help, but see that he doesn't see you the same way or even recognise you. That there is nothing beside the lost gaze and lack of connection. No smiles, no love. Just confusion.
And even though the Stanley he once know was 'erased', Fiddleford takes a deep breath and with clear sadness in voice says:
"He was there for me when my mind was falling apart and now I'm gonna take care of him." And then hugs gently confused Stan.
I belive that it would take more time for them to bring Stan's memories back. (But that's up to you how you want it)
I imagine that there would be a lot more trouble with gaining back memory for Stan. Like maybe very slowly.
Their first attempts would be unsuccessfully. No improvement. Staley doesn't remmeber anything about his live. Fotos are blank for him. He even misstooks his photo with children, thinking that on the picture is Ford and not him.
"I'm sorry, I- I really don't remmeber any of this.." Stanley said, while holding the photo album.
Everyone would be devastated. Soos, Ford, twins and Fiddleford.
But suprisingly, Fiddleford would be the one who would 'seem' to be the calmest of all of them at least on the surface. He spends a lot of time with Stanley, not necessary trying to restor Stan's memory, but geniuently spend some pleasant time together.
But deeply inside Fidds is actually really strugling. Just instead of thinking about the pain, he tries to focus on helping Stanley. He had a first hand experience with memory issues and he doesn't want Stan to suffer the same.
He also tries make Stanley feel as comfortable as possible in the New situation, while trying to bond.
They drink coffee, they watch tv, they talk. Maybe not necessary about his past.. (Stanley feels pressured, every time someone tries to recall his memories without any results) So with Fidds, he feels more relaxed.
Stanley generally feels around Fiddleford most comfortable. (He doesn't feel any obligation) And he genuelly likes him and EVEN MORE he starts to like him to the point that he's questioning himself.
Stanley: I think, I might have a crush on Fidds..?
Mabel geniuently touched that even after loosing memories the true love still remained around around them, but also jealous due to the fact that he still doesn't recall her : ...
Mabel: He's literally your husband.
Stanley: He is?? I mean- But I don't even know him..?
[Sometimes someone needs to remind Stanley that he's married to Fidds. He forgets it often, since it sounds so unrealistic for him]
Also, when Stan starts 'crushing' on Fidds, Fiddleford is very aware of it.
He immiediately catches up on simple signals like
- Random nervousness
- Playing with hands
- Unnecesarry jokes at wrong time
Just the same behaviour as from 30 years ago, when Stanley started catching feelings for him. [It makes him happy to see this once again]
Fiddleford pretends that he doesn't know. He doesn't want Stan to freak out or something.
And it goes like this..
They spend some time. Twins still try to regain Stan's memory in any way possible. Ford feels helpless. And during this time they are rebuiling the mystery shack.. (because they need a place to sleep, am I right?)
Until one day..
Fiddleford was sitting outside, taking a break from repairing the shack. All of this still seamed unrealistic for him.
He was alone.
He needed to be alone.
He felt as everything was falling apart with him all together.. He just needed some time alone. If he was about to have a breakdown, he didn't want to anyone see it.
Not Ford, not kids and especially not Stanley.
He just needed to f̸̯̞̤̻̬̯̣͙͉̿̑̾͌ͅo̶̧̅r̵̫̹̟̱̖̺̝̐̾͌̄͋̈́͜͠ḡ̴̹̰̘̫͍͇̜͜ę̵̞̯̗̺̗͙̈́͑̀̓̓̆͠t̸̡̛̞̭̪͖̬̱̮͋́̋͝ chill a little-
Then as the man sighed, he saw in the corner of his eye his lying banjo. He hadn't played in a while.. It was his firt though.
So without overthinking, the man took his instrument and started playing some random nutes. After all music always calmed him down a little.
Before he could even notice, nutes turned into melody, into songs he once used to play often during this summer and not only..
It was like this until a familiar face arrived.
"Huh, I like this melody." Stanley said with a small smile, looking directly at his instrument.
Fiddleford looked at his partner, slightly confused and shocked by his arrival. Something made him stop playing, as he realised that what he was playing they both used to love.
They used to play it regulary.
So there was no suprise, that Fiddleford hoped that maybe just maybe would be some kind of recognision. Unfortunately as soon as he met Stan's clueless eyes, he knew the answer.
"Really?" But instead of shoving his dissapointment, Fidds just asked him kindly.
"It's nice." He said as he sat next to the man with a banjo. "Keep going." Stanley encouraged him and how was he supposed to say no?
So he played. Just to see more smile on his face. Just to act as if this was normal. As they used to do.
After a while he noticed, how the other man started staring at his instrument. Fidds saw the curiousity in his eyes, and how paid attention to his movement.
Then he paused to Stans shock.
"Wanna try?" He offered with a gentel smile.
"Try?" Stan sounded suprised. "Nah, I'm gonna break this little thing." He said unsurely. "These hands are pretty clumsy recently." He joked.
"Break it? Such nonsense." Fidd chuckled with a smile and placed the banjo in Stanleys hands. "The least could happen is for one of the string to break. Don't worry."
Despite his first protest in the end Stan looked at the instrument and took it in his hands gently.
Then the man ran his hand over the instrument and all the strings rang.
"Nice." He commented. "How do you start?" Stanley asked and it took Ford a second to realise what he was asking for.
"You start with this one." He answered shortly, pointing at one of the strings. "You know.. you won't be able to play the same song at first try, it takes-"
Fiddleford was interrupted, as Stan started playing. To his suprise it wasn't any kind of weird noises by pulling random strings. No, nothing like that.
It didn't even seem as his first try, when they were young and Fiddleford started teaching Stan playing on banjo.
It was the same melody he played just a second ago.
And it wasn't just a mare try.
He did it perfectly. Just as if he knew this song.
As if he knew how to play it.
As if he remembered it.
And it didn't seem as if he was putting in this any kind of effort.
Stanley just played.
And he seemed so happy and relaxed, until he finished and the realisation hit him hard.
"How.. how did you do this?" Fidds asked first.
"I.." Stan started just as confused as he was. "I don't know." He admited trufully. "My hands were just moving on its own." He tried to explain, but seemed just as lost as him. "I didn't- I didn't think what I was doing. It just happened." He finished, looking directly at Fiddleford very confused, as if looking for the answer.
Fidds confused as him, tried not to give himself unrealistic hopes.
When it came to Amnesia it rarely affected motor skills, according to the researches. Just like walking or ridding a bike. So that would explain this 'phenomen'.
He did it instinctively.
"I teached you this one." In the end Fidds decided to be trufully. "We played it lots of times, until you didn't need the sheet music."
"Oh." Stanley said clearly dissapointment.
For a moment Fiddleford was afraid, that mentioning the past would made Stan uncomfortable, or make silent.
But fortunatelly Stanley fast showed that it didn't bothered him this time.
"Was I a good student?" Stan asked instead with a smirk. "Seems pretty easy for me." Then he added with cockyness, which made Fidds only chuckle.
"The worst one." He couldn't help himself, but taste his patience a little.
"Watch it Cowboy." The man said with smirk, so full of himself as he played a few random, but melodic notes on banjo.
And just then-
"Wait- What did you just call me?" Fiddleford asked rapidly, hoping that he didn't overheard wrong.
Stan looked at him again, taking a pause, as if trying to recall what he said.
"A Cowboy." He said slowly, realising he didn't know why he choosed this kind of words.
"Stanley, I've never mentioned that I am a Cowboy, nor that I'm a fan of them.." Fidds said immiediately and once he saw the expression on his partner's face , he knew. "Stanley." He said so hopefully and full of love. "You.."
He wanted to say You remember
He wanted to reach him..
"I-" The man in fornt of him sounded so confused, but also so hopefull at the same time.
But then rapidly grabbed his head, with a hiss.
"I- think I'm gonna have a headache-" He added painfully.
At once Fiddleford moved to him, taking him gently by his back.
